Over the past year our lodge has incorporated numerous practices to become an environmentally friendly hotel. We train our staff to be more aware of environmental issues and we will continue to strive for the best management practices to sustain our environment. Our accomplishments over the past year are as follows:

• Saving partial rolls of toilet paper and facial tissues for use in employee areas 

• Re-use of damaged linens and towels for rags

• Provide reusable items such as small toilet hand towels, cloth napkins, glass cups, ceramic dishes, etc. with all food and beverage services

• Recycling of glass, metal, tins, aluminium scraps, and cooking oil 

• Provide glass cups and ceramic mugs instead of plastic for in-room beverages. Cups and mugs are place upside down instead of covering opening with a plastic wrapping
